JSC Exam 2012 will start on Sunday 4th November and continue till Thursday Nov 15th. This year 1,908,365 students will sit the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations which is 47,252 more than last year. Among all, 896,862 are male and 1,011,503 are female students appearing for JSC Exam 2012. Stats shows that female candidates exceed male candidates by a whooping number 114,641. Whereas in last year, 1,861,113 candidates sat for JSC Exam 2011. This is to note that JSC Exam was first introduced in 2010 and JDC in 2011 for eighth-graders in Schools across Bangladesh.

Students from 27,642 educational institutions are sitting the JSC Exam 2012 at 2,250 centers across the country.

A total of 1,553,575 candidates are appearing for the JSC Exam 2012, 826,082 of whom are female and 727,493 male. And 354,790 students registered for JDC tests, with 185,421 of them female and 169,369 male.

JSC exam 2012 has 149,392 irregular candidates and JDC exam 2012 has 23,292. Meanwhile, the stats shows that JSC exam 2012 has 136,711 special candidates who failed at one, two or three subjects in last years JSC Exam 2011 and JDC exam 2012 also has 20,301 special appearing students.

The examinations will be held at seven centers abroad. A center in Jeddah has 106 candidates, Riyadh 109, Tripoli eight, Doha 72, Abu Dhabi 39, and two centers in Dubai each have 18 and 36 candidates. Ten candidates from Oman’s capital Muscat will be taking the examinations for the first time.

Question papers except for Bengali second paper, English first and second papers and mathematics will be based on creativity. Handicapped candidates will be allowed 20 minutes of extra time.  Also, candidates with sight disability and missing limbs will be allowed a dictation taker.

JSC Exam Result 2012 will be published on December, 2012. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has confirmed the JSC Exam 2012 Result publication at a press conference in the Ministry of Education on 31st October, 2012.

Last year, JSC Exam Result 2011 was published on 28th December. Education Ministry has given a clear projection for JSC Exam Result 2012 to be published on the last week of December 2012.

On the JSC Exam 2012 Result day, it will be first submitted to the Hon‘ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and after her approval the Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will publish the result through a press conference in Ministry of Education, Dhaka.  JSC/JDC Exam 2012 students will be able to collect their JSC/JDC Result 2012 from their respective school and Education Boards JSC Result 2012 website.

JSC Result 2012 will be also available through mobile SMS. To get JSC Result 2012 by mobile SMS, go to mobile message option and write JSC then the first 3 letters of Education Board name and then write students JSC Exam Roll Number and then send it to 16222.
